BIBLIOTECA

The Biblioteca of Studi e ricerche di storia dell’architettura is the open-access series of the Associazione Italiana di Storia dell’Architettura (AISTARCH), established in 2025. Like the journal from which it originates, the series publishes volumes that deal with the history of architecture in the broadest terms, without chronological or geographical limitations. In this respect, we welcome any proposal (exclusively from Aistarch members), provided that two essential requirements are met:

  • the volumes must demonstrate national or international relevance, not only in thematic scope, but also institutionally: they should be linked to circumstances, calls or funding sources that position them as outcomes of collaborative interests and projects, rather than individual endeavors, characterized by a strong and explicit participatory approach
  • for the same reason, the volumes must envisage a call open primarily to all Aistarch members (without excluding the possibility of additional contributions invited by the editors)

Proposals must be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief of SRSA; the decision whether to accept them is reserved to Aistarch’s Executive Committee, following consultation with the journal’s Advisory Board.

Once the proposal is accepted, the editorial team will collaborate with the editors of the volume to ensure full compliance with the ethical code and editorial standards of SRSA, particularly regarding the peer review process and adherence to author guidelines.
